On Tuesday, November the 17th, CNSC member Daniel Blanche-T. participated in an online colloquium organized by the ObservaTIC interdisciplinary group of the Universidad de la República (Uruguay) to talk about pressing issues related to older adults, digital technologies, and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that has struck the globe throughout 2020. The panel, featuring Dr. Roxana Barrantes (Institute of Peruvian Studies), Dr. Anabel Quan-Haase (Western University, Canada), and Daniel, presented ideas and findings from research projects that tackle this topic and later engaged in discussions with the online audience. The colloquium integrates a series of online events to address different aspects revolving around digital technologies in a 21st-century pandemic circumstance.
