Event: ACT Project meeting 2017

Event: ACT Project meeting 2017

CN&SC members took part in the 4th annual meeting of the ACT Project, hosted by the University of Ottawa (Canada) between October 13th to 15th. Martine Lagacé, who is co-applicant and an active member of the project, organized the meeting. The meeting gathered around 40 member researchers from 10 different countries.

This edition of the meeting represented the midway point of the entire project. It opened with the keynote speech “Bridging research and public policy: Questions of aging and technology” by Marcel Mérette (University of Ottawa) and followed with a roundtable session. Subsequently, several working sessions, discussions, and presentations were held by ACT members to share updates in their ongoing projects. In the closing session, the group discussed plans for future research and collaborations.
