Laura holds a PhD. in Political Philosophy by Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where she was also a researcher and professor until 2017. She currently coordinates the International Observatory for Participatory Democracy (IOPD). She has been a visiting researcher at the universities of Stirling, Harvard and Frankfurt. Her research areas are democratic theory and practice, the relationship between politics and the law, municipalism and feminism.
