Last week, the press services of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) published a note about how and to what extent older people in Spain are making use of the smartphone. This press article includes an interview with Andrea Rosales, who discussed some of the findings of her paper “Beyond WhatsApp: Older people and smartphones“, coauthored by Mireia Fernández-Ardèvol.
This press note spurred such interest from other media that Andrea participated in several media notes and clips to delve more into this topic, most notably the news section of channel Telecinco (T5) and the radio station Cadena COPE. Also, over 40 online newspapers from different parts of the country replicated the original press note.
