Workshop: Older people’s activism in Greater Montreal

Last Friday, September 6, 2019, CNSC member and Ph.D. student Daniel Blanche participated in the first workshop of the 2019-2020 season that the research laboratory Culture Populaire, Connaissance et Critique (CPCC) at Université de Montréal organizes every year. In this workshop, Daniel presented some preliminary results of his ongoing Ph.D. thesis, which addresses the topic of older people’s trajectories in political activism in two major global cities as Montreal (Quebec) and Barcelona (Catalonia). After the presentation, the session followed with a discussion with the participants, most of whom were senior scholars and doctoral students at Université de Montréal.
