Mireia Fernández-Ardèvol and Andrea Rosales will be conducting a workshop about play and wearables during the Learn do share event in Barcelona, the following June 27, 2015. Beyond the skcepticism of the possible appropriation of smartwatches, we attempt to imagine such devices as part of our everyday life, the same way as we will havesmart cities, smart cars and smart washing machines.
Thus, how smartwatches can contribute to game experiences?, How games can be adapted to the intrinsic qualities of smartwatches? How the embeded sensors and the ubiquity of smartwatches can challenge new game ideas? This will be the topic of the workshop.
