News article: A review of the #8M feminist strike in Spain

Last March 8, 2018 marked an historical milestone for the feminist movement in Spain. On this day, hundreds of feminist organizations, some labor unions, and women’s associations prepared a (trans)national strike mobilization in nearly 120 cities of the country. As part of her doctoral dissertation, CNSC PhD student Tayrine dos Santos Dias conducted fieldwork observations analyzing the course of the mobilization in the streets of Barcelona. The piece, published in the multiauthor website E-International Relations, includes an overall analysis of the event’s activity in Twitter and other social media.
