Media appearance: Smartwatches at RAC1

The Catalan radio show “El món a RAC1” aired on Tuesday, September 10 a short note on smartwatches in the Spanish context. The note informs that 10% of its population uses a smartwatch, and that half of the devices are manufactured by Apple, which makes it the leader in the market. However, these devices are far from being extensively used. CNSC member Andrea Rosales was interviewed for this note, arguing that smartwatches are also personal gadgets linked to the world of fashion. She also stated that these devices have helped older people to control their health status.
